From Mount Scopus to the Mount of Olives and Mount Herzel, we will provide you with an introduction to this holy city, cherished by millions of people of many different faiths. We will take you back 3000 years through the City of David to visit the Western Wall, one of the most sacred sites in Judaism, and look at its modern Tunnel and more recent excavations. We will help you envision Byzantine Jerusalem with rows of colonnades running its length, and encourage you to imagine the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE.

Travelling several centuries forward in time, we will visit Ammunition Hill and talk about the battle for Jerusalem and the Six-Day War. We will see the moving Yad VaShem, a sprawling and modern world centre for the documentation, research, education, and commemoration of the Holocaust. Rounding out the tour are many important contemporary institutions such as the Hebrew University, the Jewish National Library, the Supreme Court and the Israeli Parliament the Knesset.  We will end with a visit to the great leaders of Israel where they now rest in the National Cemetery.
